Holistic Veterinarian in Royal Oak

Dr. John Simon is a holistic veterinarian in Royal Oak, treating the whole animal and not just injuries and complaints. In our office, our goal is to ensure your pet has a long and happy life. We use the latest in veterinary technology combined with a holistic approach in lifestyle to give your pet the best life possible.

Our office has been treating area pets for over 30 years. In fact, we were one of the very first in the area to treat pet birds as well as dogs, cats, and small animals. Dr. Simon is one of the few veterinarians in the area certified in animal acupuncture, and he continues to take seminars in all types of traditional and holistic medicine to better care for your pet. The doctor’s interest and support for non-traditional pets includes caring for gerbils, ferrets, chinchillas, iguanas, and even turtles. We’re far from a traditional dog and cat veterinary office, although many of our patients are of the canine and feline variety.

All pets need regular wellness checkups as well as care when they’re not feeling well. Our caring staff’s goal is to make sure each pet in our care is treated gently and calmly, allowing the pet to visit as stress-free as possible. Our holistic veterinary medicine options allow us to treat your pet with methods that may not be available with other local animal clinics, giving you the largest options for your pet’s health and well-being.
