Traditional and Holistic Veterinarian Practice

In addition to our long history of excellence in traditional vet techniques, Woodside Animal Clinic has become well known for alternative medicine therapies, including pet acupuncture and chiropractic treatment.

Dr. John Simon, owner of the clinic since 1970, is a holistic veterinarian and a homeopathic vet. His healing methods also include herbal medicine and cryosurgery as well as glandular, pulsed magnetic, infratonic and soft laser therapies.

One of Dr. Simon’s many alternative treatment methods is uses painless cold laser therapy to repair cruciate ligament damage and painful conditions including arthritis, ruptured discs and post-surgical incisions. Cold laser therapy avoids anesthesia and the invasiveness of surgery.

Dr. Simon is the author of four books on bird, cat and dog health, including one on anti-aging therapies for canines.
